Brow Troubleshooting 101
Why didn't the brows laminate enough?
- Check your expiration date of product and location of where the product has been stored.
- Consider hair type! Some genetic structures need longer processing time or added heat.
- Consistent placement of the lotion. The coating should be a milky thick consistency that coats each and every hair evenly, patchy solution placement can result in an uneven result.
- Appropriate amount of stretch applied to the brow hairs.
Why does one brow laminate more than the other?
Genetics play a role:
- Some clients have a stronger follicular direction on one brow (like a cowlick).
- Adjusting timing on the stronger side
Timing is everything:
- Even 30-60 seconds difference changes results.
- Apply lotions quickly + evenly to both brows.
Check your placement:
- Symmetry matters.
- Use brow mapping or step back and review your work from the front.
Brow troubleshooting starts with knowing what to look for.
